If you ask us, it takes a lot to beat the thrill of actually being in a cinema to watch a new movie release, even after all these years.
But we have a little confession to make – streaming a new film straight to your TV at home, or mobile device, for the fraction of the price ($5.98 for standard definition rental/$6.98 for high), well, that’s not a bad substitute in our book.
We’re especially loving the movie and TV range at Dendy Direct, the online on-demand streaming service of the much-loved independent Dendy movie chain.
Unlike other streaming services, you also don’t need to sign up for a subscription. You pay as you go, with minimal fuss, either renting (you have 48 hours to view once you click play), or paying a little extra to download your choice for keeps, to watch when and how often you like.
To give you a taste of what all the fuss is about, we’ve teamed with Dendy Direct this month to give away a bundle of $20 movie vouchers.
To be eligible to go into the draw for one of those, you must be an Australian resident (Dendy Direct only streams to Australian ISPs), and have liked our site on Facebook.
All that remains is to email us your full name and place of residence to firstname.lastname@example.org by midnight (AEST) January 21. We’ll announce our winners in our next newsletter.
